J.Smo Deb Montgomery is the epitome of the strong, independent, female using her artistry to not only make a few statements but to also inspire the next generations of females to own their womanhood. Deb's proficient songwriting and masterful musicianship combine in authentic ways to deliver music that is pure, honest and organic. It does not get much better than this! Favorite track: All the Water.

dominicwilliams86 Deb Montgomery seems to encapsulate every female artist in this album. Her vocals are reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon but her songs are sung from the heart, something you don't hear on mainstream radio today. Wake Me is my personal favourite because it has such a great rhythm and the lyrics are simple but perfect. Something I look for in a singer songwriter is conveying a world of emotion through a simple lyric and Deb does this perfectly. Favorite track: Wake Me.

about

Deb Montgomery Seattle, Washington

With the intentionally primal sounds of heavy drums and fattened bass sounds, This edgy and energized EP, Montgomery brings her rock roots to the forefront and continues to explore the depths of grace needed to move through life’s vulnerabilities and losses. The beauty of arranged strings sprinkled throughout the album brings the paradoxical lightness that can sound like grace in the midst. ... more
